This work was inspired by a painting trip to Alice Springs in 2022.
From the Mt. Sonder lookout towards the West MacDonnell Ranges, sections of the Larapinta trail and the Finke River could be seen. The vast view contrasted with the small delicate wildflowers of the Bush Tomato and the Mulla Mulla that caught my attention where I stood.
